I for whatever reason tried to trace something today and I failed miserably. Which to be honest is for the best.
Drawing all the Pokemon
I am going to be doing a challenge, over the next year or two I am planning to draw every single Pokemon at least once. I am not a great artist, but the point of this is to get me used to drawing again. This means all 800 plus all their forms which comes out to a very large number, close to 1000 I think.
I will likely save the humanoid ones for later in the challenge. I am not doing them in any particular order, however I will try to avoid drawing them more than once. These will not be finished pieces but rather refined sketches. Since I want to focus on my form and movement rather than lines and shadow.
Expect my first one(s) later today.
Tokyo Ravens
Oh wow, l this series was so good. But the latest episode wasn't so good. Kon, my favorite character turned into an older grown up version, and lost pretty much all her cuteness, and her unique design (color scheme for one). While it does make some sense in the show, they could have gone a better route on the design.
Otherwise, the show was awesome.

His art is pretty good, but his subject matter recently isn't what I watched him for. But I will keep watching, since he still draws some things I still like.

You may have noticed my art take a slightly different turn as of late. I am no big artist I admit, but I created a 3D model completely from scratch which I am now using as a rough guide for my anatomy. This greatly improves my artwork obviously, but my non 3D reference art has improved as well, but it is still not at the same level as the stuff with a 3D reference.
Next for my art will likely be improving my non-reference artwork, and reducing my line size, which is quite big at this point. Mainly because it gives me greater margin for error.

Oh~ I guess that's not so bad since you can still draw without tracing. The only time I can think of tracing being useful is when ur sketching and since u can just skip that part it's arrite. And the thing about your hand cooperating, I get that too! Whe ur not concentrating, everything is fine. But when you're determined the frickin pointer scrolls outside the screen!
